VOLUNTEERS

We are currently looking for volunteers to help spot the adaptive
athletes and assist them in getting up the steeper ramps. Our ideal
ratio is a 1:1 ratio especially for our newest athletes.

SPONSORS

Our goal is to provide this program free of charge to adaptive athletes.
Currently, we are in search of sponsors
..  Sponsors are needed to help
us
provide safety equipment such as helmets, knee pads, and elbow
pads. Finally, sponsors are needed to raise funds for loaner
wheelchairs for all members wishing to participate.  They either do not
use a chair on a daily basis, or own chairs that are not park-friendly.
Designed uniquely for the sport are specialized wheelchairs with shocks
to take the strain off the riders’ backs.

All our volunteers will wear shirts with our sponsors’ logos on the back.

Living Beyond Boundaries, INC is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit
organization, so all funding is tax-deductible.

WCMX (Wheelchair Motorcross)

WCMX is a rapidly growing sport in the adaptive community, providing
riders with wheelchair maneuvering skills for everyday life in a world not
always created with wheelchairs in mind. This sport increases
wheelchair users’ abilities to achieve the highest level of independence
possible, while also teaming them with caregivers--so that they too learn
tricks of the trade to make any terrain wheelchair-accessible.  Most
importantly, it's a sport that brings the adaptive community together to
have fun and redefine the way the world views a wheelchair.
